A complete of seven,530 car house owners have been penalised and 24 autos have been impounded throughout Noida and Better Noida on Thursday for violation of visitors guidelines, police mentioned.
A majority of those violations have been of riders not sporting helmets, the visitors police mentioned after it carried out a law-enforcement marketing campaign on Wednesday in key areas of the dual cities.
Among the many challans issued, the utmost was for driving a motorcycle with no helmet (4,710), adopted by no parking (863), wrong way driving (603), purple mild leaping (284), no seat-belt (223), faulty quantity plates (137) and triple driving (106), in keeping with a press release.
Different violations for which challans have been issued are using a cell phone whereas driving (48), noise air pollution (36), air air pollution (61), and with no driving license (56), whereas 403 have been beneath the ‘different violations’ class, the assertion added.
The enforcement marketing campaign was mainly carried out at Sector-15 Roundabout, Rajnigandha Chowk, Sector-18, 125, 62, Gaur Metropolis Kisan Chowk, in and round Surajpur, Pari Chowk and Kasna city, the police mentioned.
“Through the marketing campaign, a complete of 28 autos have been towed by the authorities and enforcement motion was taken in opposition to 24 of them by impounding them whereas wheel clamps have been placed on 14 autos,” the police added.
